Sigh. Every single time I restart this box because yet another app crashed and I had to force-quit the thing, the Mac OS seems to want to rescan all my drives (some of them 1TB). EVERY FUCKING TIME. It takes over 15 minutes and it slows absolutely every process on my computer down. Fuck off, Spotlight!!
