I have been too lazy to find a fix for this, so I’d rather complain about it instead. Every time I restart my G5, Apple Spotlight seems to think it’s necessary to re-index every drive attached to my computer. WTF? This takes a good ten minutes and sends me into a homicidal rage, since the only reason I restart is to try and continue to work with shitty Adobe product. (See postings here ad nauseum.)
